No flee market, the Louvre and Notre Dame- Andrea

Well ten and a half hours on the prior day of walking was not forgotten by our bodies the next morning. Needless to say it wouldn't be a bad idea to train as if training for the iron man to be prepared for the amount of walking you can do here. The first thing we did was take care of business and search for an adapter. Our camera was dead and so that was a must. We went back to our hotel to plug it in and before we knew it, we were sleeping like newborns.

Two hours later we awoke from our hibernation and decided to get on with it. The day began to climax pretty fast as we attempted to go to the largest flee market in France. It is supposed to be open everyday but Sunday and it turns out it is only ever open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday I guess something got lost in translation there, should of told Shem to ask someone proir. The place where the flee market is turns out to be one of the worst spots in Paris for pickpocketers as told to us by the lady in the hotel and all the signs on the streets. We didn't stick around too long because when there is no market there is nothing to do. (¶ added by Shem)

We decided to go back and see some more of the sites. We went through the louvre and viewed the cathedral of notre dame. Both are most impressive and a must see even for those of you who may be thinking, 'im not into art'. Anyone- and by that i mean everyone would be blown away and totally captured by these surroundings.

The rest of the night was happily spent wandering the streets of paris being entertained by the most talented and impressive street performers. You have from violinists to 'the only man in the world who
Beat boxes imitation bird whistles' , to a women twirling around in side a giant wooden toy chest singing songs while she effortlessly plays her accordion. You have artists on every street of all styles  showing off their talents and its a pleasure to witness.

We decided that we should head back in the direction of our hotel and wandered the beautiful garden full of white statues that is front of the Louvre and continued through a park of perfectly planted rectangle shaped trees. There is no end to what you will come across in this city.

On our way home we stopped at a street vendor to purchase a couple  nutella crepes and an omlette for a few euros and ate it by the river with the eiffel tower glowing in the distance. We had a wonderful day together and cant start to imagine what we will be greeted with tomorrow.
